Hi, Friends.....

I am here with a sweet birthday card for my granddaughter who will turn 4 next month.  (How is that even possible????)  It's unusual (very!!) for me to have a card ready this early, but I noticed the MFP Simple Salutations Challenge was a Paper Doll theme.  They are hoping for people to use their Paper Doll stamps, but (fortunately for me!) they said any doll stamp would be okay.  I searched through all my stamps, and would you believe I only found one tiny doll stamp????  I used it.  :)

I also used a Verve's Mojo Monday sketch from last week:

Here's what I came up with:

The "Turning 4" greeting is from Verve - Geared Up and the little doll is one I got in a thrift store grab bag.  The paper and cardstock are DCWV.  The photo corners are from Scrapbook Adhesives.

I coated some Petaloo flowers with glitter and put sequins here and there on the background paper for some extra festive sparkle, as well as in the flower centers.

I had a lot of fun making this pink glittery card for my Little Peach, but I'm sure she'll be much more interested in what's all wrapped up.  :)

Have a lovely week!

    1. Thanks, Lis! It seems a little out of balance to me with that all bunched in the corner, but I kept to the sketch.

  5. Oh wow, this is beyond adorable! Love the polka dots and sequins and that teeny tiny dolly stamp! What a great idea to cluster and layer it with the glittery flowers so it didn't get lost...or lonely. Your little 4 year old Peach is going to love the bling!
